ScanTrac
Finds A Wide Range of Contaminants
The Fermata features a two-way discharge valve assembly that minimizes the amount of discharged product containing a contaminant.
Note that the Fermata is designed to work with piston pump (as opposed to vacuum pump) systems. Also, material flow through the pipe must be continuous with no air pockets (this is generally not an issue for pressurized pipelines).
ScanTrac systems can find a wide range of contaminants in pipes, including but not limited to:
- Metal
- Glass
- Stones
- Bones
- Rubber
ScanTrac Minimizes False Rejects
The best inspection systems need to both find defects when they occur and minimize false rejects. False rejects are expensive not just due to the loss of salable product but because of the labor allocated to addressing them.
ScanTrac minimizes rejects because it offers an exceptionally repeatable inspection process that is not sensitive to temperature, humidity, condition of product, etc.
In many applications the false reject rate on ScanTrac systems is on the order of 1:100,000!
